Privacy policy

Last updated November 6, 2026. Texas Test (Fort Worth, Texas) sells used test equipment on this website. This page explains what we keep about you, why, and what you can ask us to do. We never sell your information.

What we keep

• When you ask for an estimate, buy, or ask a question: your name, company, email, phone, bill-to and ship-to addresses, the units and options you chose, and your messages.
• Your account (My account): your email, your estimates and orders, saved addresses, and how you sign in (an emailed code, a password we store only in scrambled form, or Face ID / fingerprint, which never leaves your device).
• Sign in with Google or Microsoft: we receive only your name and your confirmed email address. We never see your Google or Microsoft password, and we don't read your mail, contacts or files.
• Watching a unit (♡): your name, email, phone and company if you give them, so we can tell you about price drops or when it sells.
• Visit statistics: which pages are viewed and how the site is used, so we can improve it. Anything you type into forms is hidden from these statistics.

How we use it

• To prepare estimates, ship orders, handle warranty and returns, and answer you.
• To send emails you asked for or that belong to your order (estimates, login codes, shipping, price drops on units you watch). Every marketing or watcher email has a one-click way to stop it.
• To keep the site safe (stopping spam, bots and misuse).

Who helps us

We use trusted services to run the site, each only for its job: website hosting (Vercel), our database (Supabase), email (Microsoft 365 and Resend), shipping rates (FedEx), visit statistics (PostHog), and sign-in (Google and Microsoft, only if you choose them). When card payments arrive, the payment company handles your card; we never see the full card number.

Cookies and your browser

We use a few small cookies that the site needs: to keep you signed in (30 days), to remember a special offer link you opened, and to complete a Google or Microsoft sign-in. Your estimate list is kept in your own browser until you send it. We don't use advertising cookies.

Your choices

• See your estimates, orders and addresses any time in My account.
• Ask us to correct or delete your details, or for a copy of them: email sales@texastest.com. We keep order and invoice records as long as the law and our warranty require.
• Stop any email with the link at its bottom.
